When I first delved into the skincare world, I was fascinated by the discovery of oil cleansers. They were such a different experience to the intensely-foaming cleansers my acne-prone, oily skin had always known — both in the technology, but also in performance.
I had always loved how my skin felt when using oil cleansers, but didn’t feel like I really got a good clean. I also missed the pH-balancing benefits of gel cleansers.

Key Ingredients
MAGNOLIA BARK EXTRACT
An ultra-soothing, adaptogenic extract that helps to combat the effects of stress on the skin.
ORGANIC BLUE TANSY OIL
A vibrant blue oil with blemish-fighting sabinene and soothing chamazulene to gently restore clarity and calm to the skin.
GENTLE ESTERS
An ultra-gentle blend of sucrose esters emulsify pollutants and impurities on the skin without stripping the skin barrier or disrupting delicate pH balance.
Dispense 2-3 pumps of the Purity cleanser.
Smooth across dry skin (and neck + body, if desired).
Gently massage the product into the skin using small circles. This will begin the process of dissolving pollutants.
Massage again with water to emulsify, then rinse away.
Follow with the rest of The Sana Method™.
Can be used as a stand-alone cleanser or a second cleanse after our Radiance Cleansing Oil. Can also double as a hydrating mask.

FAQs
Purity is unique: it’s both!
Purity is neither your traditional oil-to-milk cleanser nor your traditional gel cleanser. It’s an oleogel that turns into a luxurious milk on contact with water.
This means that it has the gentleness of an oil-to-milk cleanser with the cleansing power of a water-based gel cleanser. There’s no oily residue and never a stripped, tight feeling — just clean, calm, hydrated skin.
Most oil-to-milk cleansers are the first cleansing step in a double cleanse routine. As part of our routine, we recommend using our Radiance cleansing oil as the first cleanse and Purity as the second cleanse.
However, because Purity is oil-based, gentle, but also cleanses deeply, it can be used as a first step, a second step, or as a standalone cleanser.
If you are not a makeup and/or SPF wearer (although we always recommend SPF), Purity can be used as a standalone cleanser. If you are a makeup and/or SPF wearer, our Radiance cleansing oil is a great first cleanse to remove makeup / SPF and dissolve sebaceous filaments. Alternatively, you can use Purity as your first cleansing step and follow with your favorite foaming gel cleanser (although we personally find most foaming gel cleansers too drying).
We recommend using both Radiance and Purity together in a double cleansing routine as they both complement one another.
Radiance removes makeup and SPF with ease, dissolves sebaceous filaments, and loosens dead skin cells while Purity cleanses deeply, hydrates, and balances skin pH.
Radiance can be used alone for the most exceptionally sensitive skin types, including if you’re dealing with very active, inflamed dermatoses (perioral dermatitis, perinasal dermatitis, eczema, etc), until you can tolerate a double cleansing routine.

No, Purity does not foam. However, it has a slightly thicker, creamier milk than your average oil-to-milk cleanser. This is due to the deeper cleansing power of the formulation.
