PROTECTS THE SKIN BARRIER
WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT
This ultra-gentle cleansing formula is made with nourishing lipids, potent antioxidants, and skin-loving nutrients and without essential oils for rich cleansing experience that soothes, hydrates, and repairs.
HOW TO USE
Using 1-2 pumps of the Nectar cleanser, spread evenly across the skin. Then, using small circular motions from the center of the face outwards, massage Nectar into the skin to dissolve makeup and other impurities. Massage again using wet fingertips, transforming the gel into a nourishing milk. Then, rinse away and pat dry.
Gentle enough to be used morning and evening.

A NOTE FROM SOPHIA
Honoring Your Skin Intuition
Essential oils are powerfully healing distillations of botanicals. From a research and an experience perspective, I have a deep love and appreciation for essential oils and what they can accomplish for the skin. At the same time, I’ve seen how the tolerance of essential oils can vary widely on an individual level — from person to person and in different phases of life.
Above all, I believe in your relationship with your skin; your ability to tune into your own skin needs. Some seasons your skin might love (and benefit from) essential oils. In other times, you may need an essential oil-free formula.
So, it was really important to me to create essential oil-free formulas that you can reach for when you need them. They can benefit everyone, but especially the most sensitive of skin types or those who are healing a compromised skin barrier.
Alongside Vitale, Nectar is another installment in our essential oil-free series that I’m so excited to offer to the community.
Frequently Asked Questions
Formula
Is Nectar an oil cleanser or a gel cleanser?
Nectar is neither your traditional oil-to-milk cleanser nor your traditional gel cleanser. It’s an oleogel that turns into a luxurious milk on contact with water.
This means that it has the gentleness of an oil-to-milk cleanser with the cleansing power of a water-based gel cleanser. There’s no oily residue and never a stripped, tight feeling — just clean, calm, hydrated skin.
Is Nectar a foaming cleanser?
No, Nectar does not foam. However, it has a slightly thicker, creamier milk than your average oil-to-milk cleanser. This is due to the deeper cleansing power of the formulation.
Skin Compatibility
Can I use Nectar if I have fungal acne?
While Nectar is unlikely to exacerbate fungal acne, we always recommend patch testing. Our Purity cleanser, however, is fungal acne safe.
Is Nectar suitable for sensitive skin?
Nectar is an ultra-gentle, essential oil-free formula, made with exceptionally gentle cleansing agents. However, we always recommend patch testing to determine skin suitability.
Usage
If I use a double-cleansing routine, is Nectar the first or second cleanse?
Most oil-to-milk cleansers are the first cleansing step in a double cleanse routine. As part of our routine, we recommend using our Radiance cleansing oil as the first cleanse and Nectar as the second cleanse.
However, because Nectar is oil-based, gentle, but also cleanses deeply, it can be used as a first step, a second step, or as a standalone cleanser.
